THE FAMILIARS

The FAMILIÈRES series pays homage to the animal people who share or have shared our lives, who live or have lived with us, whom we love like family.

Following on from my PEOPLE ANIMALS series, representing them in a way that makes them sacred seems obvious to me. I grew up with a dog I adored, Diabolo, and living with him was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The loss of this beloved companion caused me immense pain. But his life remains a source of inspiration to this day, allowing me to continue showing that animals are people, unique and endowed with a sensitivity comparable to our own, human beings.
