LIMINALS
Liminal animals are those that live freely in our cities. Neither wild nor domesticated, pigeons, rats, rabbits, sparrows, ducks, and many others share urban space with us humans.
Unfortunately, these animals are often despised and killed.
The concept of liminal animals was coined in 2011 by Canadian philosophers Sue Donaldson and Will Kymlicka in their book Zoopolis, before being popularized by the media thanks to the work of the PAZ (Projet Animaux Zoopolis) association.
