ADA
Techniques mixtes sur toile.
60 cm x 80 cm
2024, Paris.
Ada is the portrait of a trout.
Like us, fish live a sensitive existence, connected to their environment and the people around them. They feel pleasure and pain, they have an incredible memory, and their emotional life is rich.
In the world, each year, 1,600 billion wild fish, and 124 billion farmed fish are caught and killed.
Ada is one of these fish.

"All the reasons that justify refraining from killing and consuming terrestrial vertebrates also apply to fish"
Lena Lindström, ethologist
